Interpraevent

Interpraevent was organized as a virtual congress in 2021. The conference is a meeting point for researchers, students, and others working with natural hazards. Interpraevent is a great opportunity to meet colleagues from all over the world, and hear presentations from leading experts.

In addition to presentations, posters, and discussions, Interpraevent offered 'virtual excursions' with storymaps to locations on Norway's rugged west coast. Many settlements here are prone to snow avalanches and must learn to live with the risk of natural hazards.

The main themes were risk management and policy, data collection and modeling, hazard and risk assessment, and hazard and risk management.

Gyro Conference ensured the successful digital execution of Interpraevent using our online platform – OnAIR.
